What’s in my January Fab Bag? | Beauty Unmasked!

Jan FabBAg

Well Hello!
If you follow me on twitter or Instagram, you know that I’m a huge Fab Bag fan. For those who don’t know what a ‘Fab Bag’ is, it is a monthly beauty subscription bag that sends you 3-4 products, some sample sized and others full sized in a cute little cosmetic bag for as cheap as 399 p/m.

So let’s have a look at what all I received in this months bag.

  1. LAQA and Co. Fat Lip Pencil – Jammy Bastard.
  2. Bioderma Sébium Gel Moussant Face Wash.
  3. Splurge Daily Moisturizer with Sun Protection.
  4. Seasoul Dead Sea Facial Mud Mask.
  5. Golden Mask

LAQA & Co. Fat Lip Pencil

Thisis a highly pigmented lip crayon in a nice coral shade. The colour is nice and vibrant but fades slightly after a snack or in 3-4 hours. Although the brand claims it to be a gloss, I feel this shade is more of a matte one. This pencil was in full size which is available for rs. 800/- on the Fab Bag website.

Bioderma Sébium Gel Moussant Face Wash

Bioderma is one of the best skincare brands and i’m so glad that the fabbag decided to send us samples of this brand. The Sébium range by Bioderma is made specifically for oily-combination skin type. It is a daily face wash enriched with purifying agents, zinc sulfate and copper sulphate. Sébium Gel Moussant purifies the skin, limits sebaceous secretion and gives the skin a nice clean glow. I have been using this wash once a day and can feel a slight change in my skin. The full sized product is available on Fab Bag website for Rs 1299/- for 200ml.

Splurge Daily Moisturizer with Sun Protection.

The Splurge moisturizer is a light non greasy moisturizer that can be used on a regular basis. It has almond oil, shea butter and wheat germ and is chemical free. The bottle mentions that it provides protection against UVA and UVB rays but doesn’t mention if it contains SPF protection. Overall, I liked this moisturizer, but I doubt i’d use it on a regular basis. Splurge daily moisturizer is available on the FabBag website for Rs 420/- for 200ml.

They say you should leave the best for the end, but when it came down to writing, I think I’ll have to do an entire separate review to mention all the awsomeness in this.  tub. The Seasoul Dead Sea facial mud mask has Dead sea minerals, argan oil, plant stem cells, goji berries, noni fruit (known for antioxidant qualities), Aloe vera, Glycerin..I can go on and on…
The mud mask however is kinda messy. (Of course Adeeba, what else do you expect from a ‘mud’ mask?) but it takes about 8-10 minutes to dry. Generally mud based masks tend to dry out more than moisturize some types of skin but after wiping it off with a warm towel (Tip from the Fabbag!) it leaves the skin clean, fresh and soft. The Fab Bag team was nice enough to send a 50ml sample to all the subscribers so I don’t think i’ll need to re-purchase it anytime soon, but this is definitely added to my skin care must haves list!
Fab Bag has 50ml tub for Rs. 995/- or you can purchase a full sized 200ml tub for Rs 3,195/- from their site too!

I hear the Feb Bags are already out! Can’t wait for that one to arrive! 😀
