The Bourjois Paris Rose Exclusif Lip Gloss comes in an opaque pink and silver tube which looks very classy and nice. The applicator is a bright pink brush which I prefer to the hoof applicators.
The lip gloss itself has a sticky consistency and smells faintly like berries. I’m not a fan of sticky glosses, so that’s quite annoying for the first hour or so. In terms of colour, it is a transparent gloss which then adapts to your skin and gives you a nice shade of pink. How can I vouch for this? Well, when a friend and I tested this together, her lips turned a nice pinkish nude whereas mine took a rosy pink shade. So yeah, there’s some science in this. Even though the gloss may fade after a couple of hours, it leaves behind a nice pink stain on your lips.
I’m a huge fan of this ‘colour changing’ gloss idea, but I’d recommend that you try out the gloss, and see what colour it adapts onto your skin tone before purchasing it in case you already have a similar shade. I actually do have a lipstick from avon, but I’m quite happy with this gloss.
Rating: 4/5 (eh man, why you so sticky?)
